TheScripto values freedom of speech, expression, and safety. Under UK Defamation Law, we maintain a strict Notice and Takedown framework.
If you believe content is defamatory
If you believe any hosted user content constitutes libel or defamation, you must submit a formal, legally binding Takedown Request via our Contact Support page. Include the specific content, the nature of the claim, and supporting evidence.
Identity verification
Because of the impact of serious accusations, users submitting defamation claims must provide proof of legal identity. This protects the community from malicious or unfounded takedown attempts.
Sequestration to human moderation
Content matching verified reporting criteria will be immediately sequestered to our Human Moderation Queue during internal investigations, pending a full review by our safety team.
