Common Questions
Is TheScripto really free?
Yes. Every standard user account is completely free. You can write unlimited reviews, search and read all content, upload photos, message users, save favourites, and access all core features — no subscription, no card required.
What are the limits on a free account?
There are no artificial limits on normal platform activity. We encourage engagement. The only restrictions are those enforced by our community guidelines and moderation policies to keep the platform safe and respectful.
What costs money on TheScripto?
Only premium publishing and business services are paid. This includes 24/7 Breaking News Daily Passes (£1.99 per 24 hours), business advertising, and sponsored business promotions. Standard users never need to pay anything.
Do I need a card to create an account?
No. Creating a standard user account is completely free and requires no payment information. You'll only ever be asked for payment if you choose to use business services.
Can I post 24/7 Breaking News?
Yes. 24/7 Breaking News is a premium publishing service available to anyone. Purchase a Daily Pass for £1.99 and submit unlimited announcements during a 24-hour period. Each submission is reviewed before publication on the Breaking News feed.
